Currently we have a small walking trail in Badu Park to use for exercise and other recreation. I suggest we expand the walking trail or start a new one that follows along the old/abandoned railroad...

Currently we have a small walking trail in Badu Park to use for exercise and other recreation. I suggest we expand the walking trail or start a new one that follows along the old/abandoned railroad tracks. In Indiana, there is a cross county walking trail called the Nickel Plate Trail. Information on this amazing multi-purpose trail can be found at http://www.nickelplatetrail.org. A trail like that would be a HUGE asset to this county and would inspire more people to get out and enjoy nature, exercise and participate in life. The Nickel Plate trail started as an idea. It is now trail that stretches over 40 miles across two counties. It has brought attention to the history of the areas and towns it passes through and has brought enjoyment to so many. We could do this here.

Solar and rainwater installed by professionals, and my next-door neighbor has septic then flag creek. Connecting my homes to the city sewer is not logical due to the line and location of the property.
I have researched other cities Lancaster, California is the first net-zero city in the world. Llano is drawing creative forward-thinking residents who would appreciate solar. And with the shortage of water at times rainwater catchment would be a refreshing option.

This is my attempt to BEG you not to consider the library as part of a property or land swap between the city and the county! As a member of the Woman's Culture Club of Llano (who started the library) and the Friends of the Llano Library, it sickens me to think this might even be a consideration. Please give your community a chance to weigh in on such a momentous decision.

There is not a lot of things for teenagers to do in this town that is free or really anything at all. It would be great to have a sand volleyball court in town for people to get together and have fun.
