About the Department
The Llano Volunteer Fire Department (VFD) serves the City of Llano which has an estimated population of 4,000 residents. The Llano VFD also serves the nearby rural area of 650 square miles with an estimated population of 2,500 residents.
Inside the City of Llano, the Volunteer Fire Department has 2 stations: 1
on the north side of the river and 1 on the south side of the river.
Llano VFD is dispatched by the Llano County Sheriff's office and
provide mutual aid to the rest of the county and nearby counties.
