About the Board
Llano Main Street envisions the Historic Business District as the heart of the community where history is preserved, where unique and exciting businesses flourish, and a place where both residents and visitors want to come for shopping, living, and entertainment.
Main Street Program
The
Llano Main Street Program focuses on economic development and historic preservation. It is a program of the City of Llano designed to help our community revitalize the Historic Business District by strengthening existing businesses, drawing new businesses, and focusing on the appearance and retail mix of the district.
About Llano
Llano is located in the beautiful Texas hill country and is conveniently located approximately 70 miles west of Austin. At the heart of the city the pristine Llano River flows through the town with the landmark Inks Bridge connecting our historic downtown with the historic rail-yard district. Established in 1856, Llano is known for its hospitality, scenery, antique stores, historic buildings, white-tailed deer, fishing, barbecue, cowboys, and cattle.
