Llano Main Street and the Llano Chamber of Commerce are pleased to cohost the first of our monthly "Mayor's Chat" to be held at City Hall Thursday, June 20th @ 7:30AM. The public is invited to participate in this exchange of ideas with Mayor Virdell and to find out first-hand about current projects and the latest opportunities and challenges facing our city leaders.

Llano, Texas was founded in 1855, on the clear, spring-fed Llano River. The town of Llano, Texas became the county seat in 1856. Well established by 1860 with stores, saloons and a hotel, there was no church in the rough frontier of Llano. The Llano, Texas courthouse dates back to 1892.

The City of Llano is the county seat of Llano County.
